Newgate Lodge Care Home Rooms

At Newgate Lodge Care Home, we have a total of 60 spacious and elegant single, en-suite bedrooms. The ground floor, named ‘The Willows’, is home to 26 bespoke rooms ideal for those looking for Residential care. We also welcome people living with dementia to our 34 beautiful bedrooms in ‘The Meadows’ on our first floor, with teams specialising in Dementia care with specialist skills and experience in caring for residents living with dementia.

Our rooms are serviced by our excellent housekeeping staff using our on-site laundry. The purposely built home has also recently undergone a makeover to give a comfortable yet modern feel and has assisted bathrooms with wet rooms and mechanical powered baths. Adjoining rooms are available for married couples or partners/ siblings and two rooms on the ground floor have patio access to the secure courtyard.

All of our bedrooms feature private television aerials, internet access and telephones. Rooms are decorated to the preference of the resident, offering a homely environment that is both comfortable and pleasant with furnishings to suit their personal preferences.

We have four dining rooms, a resident-run tuck shop, an enclosed garden, a multi-faith room, a private visitors lounge, a reminiscence lounge and a conservatory lounge with two passenger lifts allowing easy access to both floors and staff are always on hand to assist residents. The hardworking care team always puts the well-being of our residents first.
