Aman Lidder
Head of Operations
Aman began her career in 2003 with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, where she played a pivotal role in establishing best practices for legal and ethical standards. She co-authored “Therapists in Court,” a key legal resource for the profession. She then advanced her career in forensics and compliance with PwC and later at HSBC Global Banking.
After a 12 year break to raise her six children, Aman transitioned into social care, joining Lidder Care in early 2022. In June 2024, she earned her Level 5 Leadership in Adult Care qualification. Her dedication to employee wellbeing led her to introduce an employee wellbeing program, and she is a certified Mental Health First Aider. Additionally, she trained as a Personal and Business Life Coach with Barefoot Coaching, enabling her to guide internal and external teams on effective leadership and teamwork. Aman’s passion for high-quality care and her commitment to the happiness and health of her employees are paramount. She believes that employee wellbeing is as important as the care provided to our clients.
At Lidder Care, Aman has been at the forefront of the refurbishment projects at both homes. She has thoroughly enjoyed the process of transforming outdated spaces into care environments which are fresh, relevant and aligned with our residents’ needs and preferences. Further, Aman has driven the adoption of digital care planning and audit compliance software, ensuring these systems are deeply integrated into the company’s operations. She is also currently focused on the seamless implementation of the new CQC framework, striving for full compliance and alignment with the new single assessment framework.
Outside of work, Aman enjoys running, completing the London Marathon in 2022 as well as a 26-mile hike in the Peak District to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society in 2024.
