Each and every member of staff is a valued member of the team, so we continually develop our staff and invest in regular training to update their knowledge and progress their career because it is important to us that our staff love their jobs. For example, we have supported many members of our care team in becoming designated ‘Dignity Champions.’
Training commences with new starters completing Induction and staff attend mandatory courses with further training in specific areas of care practice. For example, enabling and enhancing the lives of our service users experiencing the many facets of dementia illness.
Staff receive regular support and supervision, with annual appraisals from the Registered Manager to review performance, identify any training requirements and ensure you can build your career. Newgate Lodge
Newgate Lodge Care Home is a residential home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire near to Mansfield Town Centre. There are plenty of public transport links and an onsite car park. We have multiple teams working in our home including the care team, housekeepers, catering team, maintenance and management.
