As far back as when I worked as a care assistant in the community, I knew that care was all I wanted to do.  I worked my way up to Team Leader, then Head of Care and finally Home Manager and having worked for over 20 years with Older Adults, including those with complex needs, I am proud to bring a wealth of practical experience and knowledge to Newgate Lodge.

During my career I have been privileged to work alongside many likeminded professionals including carers, social workers, health professionals and fellow managers and have always believed that working together as a team is the only way to provide the best possible care and support to our residents.

Alongside our Deputy Manager Lee, we are passionate about developing staff teams to reach their full potential by facilitating good training, encouraging career development and supporting them to aspire to become the best version of themselves.  I find this approach creates confident and competent staff teams who in turn provide the best care to our residents.

Our Company ethos is to always ensure that our residents feel safe, happy and loved and all those at Lidder Care share these same values and beliefs.
