This month at Lowmoor Nursing Home, we’re thrilled to highlight the fantastic activities and events from the past month, as well as give you a sneak peek at what’s coming up this month.

Celebrating The Mother’s at Lowmoor

This Mother’s Day, we were proud to celebrate with a heartwarming weekend full of entertainment, togetherness and celebrations. The festivities began on Friday with a live singer who performed classics, getting everyone up dancing and singing along.

Out of the home, resident at Lowmoor Nursing Home, Bonnie, enjoyed a lovely Mother’s Day celebration at home with her family.

Pancake Day Delights For Our Residents

Last month, our residents at Lowmoor Nursing Home enjoyed a delightful Pancake Day celebration filled with smiles, laughter, and delicious treats. Everyone tucked into freshly made pancakes, choosing from a wide variety of tasty toppings.

Pamper Time

Our lovely resident Barbara enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of pampering as she was treated to a fresh manicure. She chose a beautiful shade of red for her nails and was clearly delighted with the stunning results, smiling proudly at her elegant new look.

Spring Cheer Brightens Lowmoor

Our residents and team at Lowmoor Nursing Home welcomed the start of spring with a burst of colour throughout the home. Dressed in bright, colourful and cheerful outfits, everyone helped bring a sense of seasonal joy and vibrance to the day. The uplifting colours lifted spirits and set a happy, positive tone to begin the month.

Red Noses, Big Smiles

The residents and team at Lowmoor Nursing Home embraced the spirit of Red Nose Day by proudly sporting their red noses throughout the day. The home was filled with laughter and light-hearted fun, as the red noses brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

Baking Up Joy

Residents enjoyed making and baking delicious cupcakes. The ladies involved took great pleasure in mixing, adding ingredients and helping to create these beautiful treats. The activity sparked smiles and laughter all around, filling the home with the sweet aroma of freshly baked cupcakes and joyful conversation.

Game On With Rise Sports

We had a fantastic time during our recent ball games session with Rise Sports! Residents got actively involved, throwing and catching balls with one another in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Their enthusiasm and teamwork were celebrated at the end when they received their special trophy, making it a memorable experience enjoyed by all.
