Supporting Our Residents: Fundraising for Tiny Tablet Dementia Tables

Lowmoor Nursing Home recently had the pleasure of hosting a taster weekend with the Tiny Tablet sensory table. Lowmoor is actively fundraising to purchase these dementia-friendly tables, to further enhance our nursing dementia care offering at Lowmoor Nursing Home, which our residents found both engaging and enjoyable.

Music and Dancing with The JJ Galway Band

Our residents had a fantastic time enjoying a visit from the JJ Galway Band, singing along to classic tunes and dancing the afternoon away. It was a wonderful atmosphere filled with music, laughter and happy memories.

Easter Raffle Tickets Now on Sale

Our Easter raffle is now live! Tickets are available for purchase at reception – just £1 for 5 tickets. The lucky winners will be drawn during the Easter period. Don’t miss your chance to take part!

Valentine’s Day Celebrations

Love was truly in the air as we celebrated Valentine’s Day with our residents. The day was filled with heart-warming moments, lovely decorations and special treats to make everyone feel appreciated.

Residents Enjoy Sensory Hedgehogs

A big thank you to Adele for taking the time to create beautiful sensory hedgehogs for our residents. These handmade creations provide a lovely tactile experience and have been a great source of comfort and engagement for our residents.

Noisy Animal Bingo Brings Laughter and Fun to Lowmoor

Noisy Bingo was a huge hit with our residents, filling the room with laughter and excitement as they enjoyed playing bingo with fun and lively animal sounds.

Residents Keep Active with Rise Sports

Our gentlemen had a fantastic time participating in Rise Sports’ sessions, which are designed to promote movement, teamwork and fun. It was wonderful to see everyone fully engaged, staying active, and embracing a bit of friendly competition.
